Animoto

The Photojojo website introduced me to this little gem and with the weather as it is at the moment I thought you might like to check it out on a rainy day. Animoto takes your [digital] photos and makes them into a video slideshow with real music. Really my words don’t do it justice so you will have to check out the video that Photojojo made with it.

What’s even better is that almost anybody could knock up a video with this in 20 minutes. It’s dead easy, choose the photos you want to use, upload them onto the animoto website and then select the music you want to hear along with your video. To top it off 30 second videos are free.

Here are a few more examples.

Original photojojo post.

France Photos Pt2

No need for an introduction, you knew they were coming.  This time from Figures (Dali museum) and a medieval market in France then from Roses on the costa brava in Spain.

France Part 1

Ok, here are the photos, now stop stalking me! Bloody Cornish gossips.

I’ve spent far too much time thinking about how Marcus knew I had been to France – the time it took to get up and make a cup of tea – so I give up and pre tel, how did you know we had been to France?

As a reward for your Cornish sneakiness, Marcus, here are the photos. I’ve recently become the over protective owner of a Canon EOS 400d. So in trend with playing with my new camera I decided to shoot many of the 400+ photos we took in raw. For those of you not in the know, shooting in raw to digital photography is like developing your own photos instead of sending them off to trueprint. After 10 hours in front of Adobe Lightroom I regret I may never shoot raw again.

Moving on, here is the first week, more to follow – maybe.

New Private Gallery

If you don’t know us then private galleries will be of little interest. Then again if you don’t know me and are reading this then you probably have some time on your hands. Check out the latest addition to the picasa account, a few random photos from August.

Looking for the travel blog?

Then I’m sorry to say that it’s gone.   It hasn’t been getting so many hits these days and I haven’t updated it in a long time so I’m moving it across to wordpress.com where it’s free.  I doubt I will move the old travel blog across, I don’t remember it containing anything all that useful but if that’s how you got here then check out the google cache or you can use the wayback machine.

As for the photos?  I hope to get them onto a picasa or flickr account soon.
